By far one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Cologne and always worth a visit! The dishes are creative, varied and, in the best sense of the word, full of flavor. Also absolutely okay in terms of price. In addition, there is very good service and extremely friendly owners. Always my pleasure!
One of the best restaurants in Cologne. If you really want special and authentic Asian cuisine, I can only recommend this restaurant. It is not particularly large, which is why you should reserve and with a little luck you will get the space in the bay window. Everything is freshly prepared, the prices are rather cheap, there is vegan and vegetarian food and the waitress (and owner?) Is funny and charming! Hopefully you can open again soon :)
Ordered and picked up by phone yesterday. Ready in 20 minutes. VERY DELICIOUS at home too. We love the vegetarian dishes, especially summer rolls, flat rice noodles (Bun Nam Bo Chay) and udon noodles with tofu. The staff are really nice.
Outstanding papaya salad and other very tasty and fresh Vietnamese dishes await you here. In addition, the staff are incredibly friendly. During the lockdown it is possible to order dishes from a reduced menu - luckily the aforementioned papaya salad made it onto the menu - H10 is my clear recommendation!
Incredibly friendly, very tasty and authentic food!
We ordered a starter with a main menu. The service was courteous and friendly. The food was very, very fresh and tasted good!
Top service, very good food, a lot of vegan selection, like to come more often
Attentive and very friendly service, large selection of dishes (also vegetarian and vegan), was really delicious. Treat yourself.
2.5 / 5 STARS ~ Interior is reduced to the essentials, service friendly but inattentive in places, waiting time in my case a little longer but within reasonable limits. The menu is quite exciting, prices are in the midfield. Duck with vegetables and lemongrass-chilli sauce read more spectacularly on the menu than it was in the end ... quite tasty, but only marginally stands out from the snack standard; the sauce was so-so. The homemade iced tea is heaven on earth, a big plus, so don't order a boring coke! ;) Nice shop overall, you can put up with it, but it didn't knock me off my feet. Note: The rating is based on ONE visit, the overall impression may change in the future.
Were there quite often in the past, and have now been here again for a long time and were unfortunately disappointed with the quality and taste. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated - a shame.
Hard to see from the outside, quite small, but the food was delicious and yesterday a VERY friendly young lady was the waitress.
Super store! Very tasty and well spiced dishes, delicious drinks and super nice service. Price / performance is right.
Great staff, great Pho. Would totally recommend.
Super delicious food, freshly prepared and lovingly arranged. Also very friendly service. Definitely recommendable!
The owner is very respectful to the customers. Nice atmosphere, no weird smell. Clean tables with some flowers. Nice nice.
The restaurant, which is not particularly inviting from the outside, has great recessions, which is why I gave it a try. It looks a little nicer inside than expected. But cozy is different. Unfortunately, the food was too salty. A whole new experience for me with a chicken curry. At 10 euros, not particularly cheap for a quick snack. The staff was friendly.
The food here was amazing and huge servings for the price we paid! We had the pho (beef) which was one of the best we ever tried in Europe (around €9). Also tried the fried vegetarian spring rolls (you only get two for €4.50 unfortunately) and the Vietnamese coffee (which was delicious)! It is definitely worth coming here on a winter night for a heartwarming bowl of pho! Wasn’t too busy at around 6pm and we easily got a table.
Really authentic vietnamese cuisine. The food is indeed - for western standards - somewhat lightly seasoned but that's part of the experience. Ingredients are fresh and meals seem carefully prepared.
price/quality good
Very pleasant experience and good food, they could invest in a better decoration though to attract more people... It doesn't look like much from the outside but is definitely worth a visit
Amazing restaurant. Even though it is a small place, the food is super delicious. It satisfies all your taste buds; the herbs and spices are perfectly balanced so you don't need to add anything to your dish. It is cozy and warm. You should reserve your table ahead of time as you might not find a place if you show up on the door. The coffee is so good too.
Everything was very light. The ingredients were fresh but the flavor of every dish we had was very light and the sauce was very liquid.
good food, nice service. cozy atmosphere. good stuff.
I come there nearly every week. Tasty foods exactly as in Vietnam, excellent service as at home with family.
Tasty food but took very very long to prepare the dishes.
Very good food
Always delicious. Friendly service. We'll be back!
Pooh! I came here because of the very good reviews to end the birthday of my (pregnant) wife. My Pho Bo, however, was garnished with many wilted-brown-gummy, probably longer-lying herbs, the meat (cheapest fat-and-long-drawn pieces, looked more like pig instead of as specified beef) in the soup tasted unidentifiable and musty. The "self-roll plate" of my wife was half of obviously unwashed, soiled with earth and sand mint and possibly also unwashed and visually no longer fresh mung sprouts, which I do not even let my wife due to the risk of infection (EHEC sends greetings!) wanted. In addition, two of the advertised sorts of "fried meat" of their dish were just any sausages. Here, the rules of good kitchen hygiene are obviously not respected, which can bring any (!), But especially people with weakened immune systems and pregnant women in great trouble. Besides, it does not appear to be so accurate with the declaration of the dishes on the menu. This borders on deception and together with the inferior quality of the food makes a miserable impression. Even at the Burger King on the Schildergasse I have a better feeling despite the rats and mice!
My favourite waitress works here.
Tasty food and friendly staff! The Tageskarte-suggestions are highly recommend.
Highly recommended, small but very helpful. The dishes I ate were all really delicious.
Simply furnished, clean. Fast, very fresh, spicy coconut curry soup. Gladly again
Highly recommended Vietnamese cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. The service or shop owner are friendly and sympathetic. The store is small and could use a little more decoration. In the evening you should book.
Very good food
The best Vietnamese food ever in Germany :) I love “Hu tieu Nam Vang”, which I could only find in this restaurant. Super nice waitress with nice suggestions :D for sure I will come back here again
Solid choice for an unassuming dinner or lunch. Recommended.
I love this place, but at the same time I hate it. Why? The food is the best Vietnamese I have ever tried, but sadly I don't live in Cologne or Germany, so I cannot have it everyday. Also since I ate here, every other Vietnamese just tastes boring. This place is just great. Vibrant tasty refreshing and creative dishes, nice homemade drinks, super friendly service. It feels like at home! Great vegetarian options! I would consider flying to Cologne just for the food here! Can recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Cologne.
Quick and friendly service, excellent food! The Pho soup was good, and the red curry with the fried duck was out of this world! One of the best ducks we ever had!
We visited this place after work with friends only after reading the reviews in Google. It's probably the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared and had a homemade quality. Pho soup tasted like no other before (no taste additives) and duck was superb. Personnel was very polite. Congratulations to the cook, we'll visit again. Actually I get hungry writing this review!
It was yummy! My curry with mango was super delicious!
Went there a couple of times already and it's getting better and better. Last time all dishes where absolutely delicious. Service is friendly and charming. Especially like the fact that it's rather small so it gets kinda private
Delicious food
I really enjoyed my meal! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!
We are all students coming from Vietnam and love trying Vietnamese food around the world, especially Germany, where we study! This time in Koeln, Út Hân makes us so happy with their food. Finally, there is one restaurant keeping the original version of Vietnamese food (Southern part). Strongly recommend Bún bò Huế and Bún thịt nướng here! Gỏi đu đủ is also a good choice we made ;-) If you want to know how the real Vietnamese cuisine is or miss Vietnam, here is the place you should go to!
Delicious food, well prepared, attentive service. Only the mango announced in the meal was not included. That couldn't be explained either.
